Have you discovered Alstroemeria yet?

Commonly called the Peruvian Lily, it has little to no smell for those of you that find lilies to fragrant. Most of the cut varieties will range from 2 to 3 feet in length and branch into a multi-headed bloom.

Colors include yellow, apricot, orange, salmon, pink, red, mauve, lavender, purple, cream, white and bi-colors. All have a distinctive “tiger” stripping in the throat of the flower.

Freshly cut, they will typically last 1 to 2 weeks but I took some home a while ago that lasted closed to 3 weeks.

Featured now at our Broadway store, you’ll find a “manager’s special” in place… 3 bunches for $10. That’s 15 stems!!
